About

It is my vision to bring nature, yoga and music together to revolutionize lives across the world. I know from personal experience that when we slow down, connect with nature and ourselves, creativity is activated, positive change happens, and more fun is had. And those themes run deep here in my blog. Travel, nature, yoga and music intertwine to tell a story that includes you! Expect a weekly posting on these topics.

Since  2004 I have been honing my skills as a teacher and facilitator, both in deep nature connection and yoga. I am a trained Nature Connection Mentor through Wilderness Awareness School based in Duvall, WA, USA and have worked for the school for over 7 years. I most recently have become the Director of their Kamana Naturalist Training Program.

In March 2010 I graduated from the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training in Seattle, led by Ana Forrest. In August 2011 I graduated from the Forrest Yoga Mentorship Program in Manhattan with Erica Mather. And in August 2012 I graduated from the Advanced Forrest Yoga Teacher Training!

I have traveled to the UK as a guest facilitator for the Art of Mentoring, a week-long, deep nature connection immersion workshop. I also co-facilitated Island Beat: A Music Nature Camp for kids aged 9-14 with Joe Craven on Mercer Island, WA for the past 3 summers. This May 2013 I will run my first-ever Retreat to Ireland.
